Which is better and why?

ds lite is better

DS Lite is better LOOKING, but it has the same specification, as, well, a regular DS. There both the same except the DS Lite is more:
1. Sleek
2. Portable
3. Has microphone in middle of player
4. On/low battery light in different place.
So really, I'd prefer the DS Lite. But if you don't have a lot of money, just get the regular DS. It's the same experience.

DS lite by far. It's a lot smaller and feels better in your hands. They even thickened the stylus for a better grip. Above all though, the DS Lite is backlit, so it's a LOT brighter. I've owned both, and the Lite is a LOT better.

DS lite since it's way more high tech than the ds.

The light is better but is it worth its price, well i think it is, its only a bit better but it is more expensive right. Overall its worth it
