I went to hospital yesterday because i had very mild cramping or heavy feeling (can't really identify)and brown discharge they did an ultrasound that found a sac 6mm which was accurate to a 5week 1 day pregnancy which is what i expected there was a questionable yolk sac and some hypoechoic fluid which they said could be from implantation bleeding and no fetal pole or heart rate yet still early for that I went to my doctor and she said it is just a waiting game that a lot of pregnancies have this sort of blood discharge and turn out find or it could be a blighted ovum I am terrified i can't lose this baby can anyone please share their experiences i am going to see her again next week andif all is fine no miscarriage than she is gonna do another ultrasound to see if their is any sine of the baby..
Thanks Y'all

brown discharge can mean a few things but it is usually old blood (ie blood that was from implantation but just took a while to make it's way out so it has turned brown already) I wouldn't worry too much. If it is a blighted ovum then you will know soon but I doubt that is the case. I have lost many pregnancies in the first month and it isn't easy to bear but I have persevered and have two beautiful and healthy children. Keep treating yourself like you are pregnant. Eat well get your rest and take your prenatal vitamins. I'm sure that next week you will see a happy little embryo on the screen and you can go back to planning for a happy delivery. You are in my prayers.

Heavy Feeling In Abdomen

With my first pregnancy I bled like crazy one day in my first trimester so much that I thought I had a miscarrage but went to the hospital and the baby was fine.... My second pregnancy I also spotted earlier on in the first trimester, I am on my third pregnancy and I am now 9 weeks pregnant. when I was 5 weeks I started bleeding red blood, then went to pink, then I spotted brown discharge for 3 weeks, had strong cramps, went to get an ultrasound the baby's heart beat was strong. Bleeding in my pregnancy is just normal for me I guess but not everyone is the same everyone's body is different. Good luck to you.

Hi sweetie,
The brown discharge is normal . If you are having a miscarriage you would know it you would have really bad cramping and heavy bleeding like a period. I had the same thing and still had a perfectly healthy baby boy. Just try to relax and take it easy for a few days. Get some rest and Best of Luck to you.

I had a blighted ovum with my first pregnacy. I found out at 9 weeks. All they could see on the screen was a sac but nothing inside. I had to have a d&c to clear it out or wait for it to miscarry on its own. With my second pregnancy I had a vaginal ultrasound at 5-1/2 weeks. You could see the sac and a little blip that was his beating heart. Good luck to you.

When I was pregnant with my daughter, who is my 3rd child, I started bleeding at about 6 weeks pregnant. I had brown discharge for about 2 days. 2 weeks later I began bleeding a little heavier. Went to emergency room, they did an ultrasound and all was well. I took it easy until I passed my first trimester. After that my pregnancy was smooth sailing. My daughter is now 15 months and perfectly healthy.

I haven't experienced bleeding no but I just want to say good luck and that everything is going to be okay! I've heard of alot of people having bleeding due to the implantation and they've had great pregnancies...Just watch for further blood and if there is go to the emergency room right away..dont wait...good luck hun and don't worry..I worried about everything when I was pregnant..:)

I wanted to share my stories with you but this is a trying time and I wouldn't want to scare you even more. Just pray about it sweetheart. At this point, there's really nothing you or the doctors can do but wait. There's no preventive measures they can take. You however can take it as easy as possible and TRY not to worry. I know you can't help it, I was just there last month...so, I understand.

I'm so sorry you are going through this. My best friend had this same experience 3 times. It really is just a waiting game right now. Just relax, think positive thoughts, and don't over do it physically.
