A friend who is a bit of a complainer asked me to meet her for dinner on Sunday. I told her I wouldn't be back yet from my Thanksgiving weekend away, but I will be home then. I just want to enjoy my long weekend and not have to listen to Weezy vent.

no I am as honest as they come, no need to lie, it grows into a bigger lie, and why risk lieing when telling the truth is all that matters in life, why do you think everyone hates BUSH so much. Maybe telling ppl the truth might hurt but at least you will not have to make up more lies to cover the first one.

I wanted to see a movie and he said he didnt have any money, but we could do something else if i wanted to hang out, so I said okay. But then the next day another friend asked if i wanted to see that movie that I originally wanted to see, so I said that I would go. So I told my first friend I was going to hang out with that I wasnt feeling well and I couldn't hang out. It wasn't even a big lie...just kinda flaky.

I "lie by omission" on a fairly regular basis, and I mislead people about my body and my personal life. As a gay transsexual man, I leave important pieces of information out of my communication with others so that they will not learn the truth about me. I do it out of fear of reprocussions to my significant other, his children and to me. It's a big secret, and keeping it requires that I mislead and omitt a lot of information about myself.
