No, it completely goes against their beliefs as a Christian. It's exactly opposite of what God wants them to do. "Thou shalt not kill" remember that? Yea, well, no matter what anyone says, abortion IS killing. Whether or not you think it should be legal is a different matter. The baby is almost completely formed @ just a few weeks until you're due. So if you get an abortion, @ a few weeks before you're due the baby is almost completely formed, with eyes, fingers, toes, and it's very distinguished. It's not just a bunch of cells.
So, to sum it up; no, they're not being Christ-like at all.
I'm not saying abortion is right or wrong, I'm just answering; though I'd choose adoption.

There are 2 ways you can see the situation

That particular christian encourage abortion maybe they feel like the person involve dont have the capabilities to handle the child and by giving birth they might do more bad than good to the child.

But In any religion! By all means! That is a life that your killing!!! dont you ever with to try to give the best to your child? seeing the child growing up, the first step, the first word???

I am totally againts it!

Having a child is a beautiful experience, however it comes with a lot of responsibility. Abortion should never be used as a birth control method but sometimes they are necessary, ie...incest, rape, inability to properly care for a child. A Christian advising abortion is probably doing this for good reason.

No, it is not ok to have an abortion, under any circumstances. If you are a Christian you will be breaking one of God's 10 Commandments, Thou Shalt Not Kill. To be Christ-Like you would have to do what He would do and that is to preserve life not destroy it.

I'd say no. Christ values life, and loves children. There are biblical references to Him telling the disciples to allow the children to see him speak.

There are lots of abortion alternatives.

Killing babies is never a good thing. Women worry about the rights over their body - what about the rights of the little baby inside of them? Should the baby have to suffer because a woman mistakenly gets pregnant? I don't think so.

No, it's against their beliefs! But depending on the situation...I guess they could be trying to help in their own kind of way! I don't believe in abortion...especially as a form of birth control!

ADOPTION / ADOPTION / ADOPTION!
