YES, it is, if you want to get good gifts at a good price for others or for yourself. Black Friday is the biggest sale of the year!

Catch 22 on this one. Quite a few of the "hot" items will not stay in stock so if you are looking for a specific thing then it might be worth suffering and get out there get them. However can you imagine the panic of the retail corps with all us folks if we didn't go out and shop alot on Friday? Talk about motivating them to really put things on sale before the Holidays ;-)

There is NOTHING I want badly enough to fight the crowds on the Friday after Thanksgiving. I'm not a "shop 'til you drop" type anyhow, so the idea of being part of the circus is not something I'd even think about.

The crowds stink, but there seriously are some crazy good deals really early in the morning. Have a list of exactly what you want so you're not stuck browsing and go early!!!!!

They say that they are but it depends if you want to put yourself in a huge crowd or not. I am doing it this friday just because I have never done it before:-)

No, many items that are "HOT" specials are also available on the web. I use the web exclusively for Christmas shopping for many years and I love it.

Only if you buy the things that are the specials - they lure you in with those great prices and then you end up buying other things that aren't necessarily the best deal.

They are not that great. I guess I go for the rush.The adrenaline is fabulous!!!
