I am 34 weeks and 4 days pregnant. I went into preterm labor at 23 weeks and the doctors stopped me I have been 3.5 cm and 70% efface for 11 weeks now and station at -2 for about 2 weeks now how much longer will it take to go into labor. My body is very tired and I have had all the appraoching labor signs. I have been having pre-contractions for 3 weeks now and lost my mucus plug 11 weeks ago. My due date is dec.30 2006, but I have a 3 years old he was born at 36 weeks and a 2 year old born at 31 weeks.

sorry to be the bearer of bad news... that was my situation also. I was 3 cent. dialated 60% effaced. lost my mucus plug and still baby came 5 days late... AND i had to be induced on top of it all. (went into pre term labor at 27 weeks) Just hang in there the drs will interviene if neccisarry but otherwise keep reminding yourself... the longer the baby stays in there the healthier it will be. Congrars on the baby and good luck and praying that you have a smooth and healthy labor!

Well its impossible to know for sure, but you already know that! If it doesnt happen within the next 2 weeks your doctor may induce if you'd like to get it over with, since you said youre tired. But the baby needs 36 weeks to develop lungs and gain weight.

I think you should expect to go at anytime now. It sounds like you have your hands full and are staying very busy which is good. Stop thinking about it as much as possible and just get everything ready.
