I guess you are asking this question based on some fears you have. Perhaps you fear he will react badly or break up with you. All I can say is that your pregnancy is something the both of you need to experience. It is something you now share.

Give him a chance to be involved, hiding it will only make things prolonged and worse for you in the end. You have no control over how he will react and waiting will not necessarily change the outcome. I would say you owe it to yourself to get it off your chest.

Good luck.

Well, in my opinion, I would definately say tell him. No matter if he is or is not the father eventually he will know. Honesty is the best policy and will keep you from future heartbreak. Not only does he have the right to know but also you need support.

In my case... it wasn't my boyfriend that I questioned telling... I told him immediately. BUT it was my family. They did not like my boyfriend (who has now been my husband for 12 years!!) I knew once I told them I would lose some of them for good. I made my decision to tell them early on, because my feelings were, that if they loved me unconditionally like a family should than I should be fine, but if they didn't want to share the special time in my life and were willing to cast me aside then so be it. I was becoming a mother then and first and foremost at that time was that I give my child the best life I could and surround them with unconditional love.

I DID actually lose most of my family over it. Although there is a huge hole in my heart... because I still love them so much, I married the most wonderful man. We are now on our 3rd child. I cherish him for his unconditional love, understanding, and support.

I wish you the best of luck, but I really do believe you "should" tell your boyfriend.

You cannot have a relationship with someone if you feel you can't tell him something. I would tell him right away you will feel better after you do.

is he that bad of a boyfriend that you dont want to tell him? you should tell him as soon as possible...because one day he will find out and the outcome might not be that nice.

You could not tell him...but it might be obvious after awhile. You won't be able to use the "i ate too much cheesecake" excuse forever.

You need to tell him up front about you being pregnant. Dont be scared or shy about it b/c he is the one also that got you pregnant.

Look at it this way, if you don't want to tell him, then you should teach the baby to tell him.

But, I am sure he might figure it out before then.
