How to "fax" word docs to fax number?

Question

I am on a wireless type networkand would like to send documents to a fax number. I understood this is possible but do you need a special program or to have internet through a phone line?

for this purpose you will need an additional software such as SCV Fax, super fax. this will install a printer in the menu.. a fax printer... click print and select fax printer.. and then go on as the instructions suggest..

when u install a fax program on the computer, it starts showing in the printer options.
When you go to print (in any program) you are given the option of your printer as well as FAX.
you can choose fax and then you will be diverted to the next process of fax i.e. "enter fax number "
