i just bought a web cam, but the images are blurred, you cant even tell who the person is in front of the camera, how can i fix this?

i already tried on all the resolutions, still the same blurry image, only the size changed...

thanks mitchell, ur a lifesaver, i actually tried that but i thought it didnt work because the stupid sales lady told me it was for the contrast... *****.. thanks alot..

not being a smart but there may be a manual focus ring on the end of the camera

how about changing the USB ports... switch it with other ports?
or reinstalling the program...
