Are you nuts? Let me explain something to you. A real friend will be honest with you even when the truth hurts. Some one who will lie to you as an acquaintance not a friend. And to be quite honest you are truly lucky to have one TRUE friend in a life time. And a best friend isn't some one you choose. It's some one you can trust, rely on, confide in, who will back you up even when you are wrong (and tell you about it later), who will be there when you need them, and some one who will consider you and your feelings and needs sometimes even putting them before their own. A true friend is forever your friend. Not one to ditch you for some one else much like you're considering.

I think you answered the question youreslf. the one that is the true friend and never lies. the other one isn't truly a friend at all if you can't trust her. She's merely an acquaintance who you probably won't even talk to 10 years from now. Trust is something that is very tough to have in a friendship and almost impossible to earn back.

Anyone who lies to you is not a friend unless they lie to protect you.. but a true friend is someone who will stand by you never lie to you and you will never lie to them, then that is a true friend and that is the person I would choose if I was you.
