get all your sales people to visit their customers and tell them about the new product

The best method is - the humble WOW - word of mouth. You need to have a good strategy around it though to get the recommendations and advocates out there. and then you have to manage and maintain it.

PR is another good means but you have to be ready to go public and carefully manage the whole process. One glitch could spell disaster.

But in all honesty it would depend on your product, your market, whether it's seasonal etc etc. You have to plan for the short/long term.

Good luck

It depends what you sell, but there's lots of different techniques, some are better than others, you have to experiment with each one, and find out which one works best.

i experimented with lots of ways when i was building up my business, ime a window cleaner, i put ads in shop windows, papers etc but didn't get much business so tried another approach,

i printed leaflets off and posted them through letter boxes in different streets, telling them if they want there windows cleaned leave this leaflet in the window or on the door where i can see it, then went back down the street the next day and there was loads of leaflets in evereyones windows lol.
didnt cost much either.

There is no general answer. You do not specify what the products are, where they are, to whom you want to sell them, or anything else! Of course you don't want to waste money, and of course you would like your publicity to spread rapidly, but in the absence of even the most basic information you will only discover here that any information you get will be worth vwhat you paid for it!

NO advertising/marketing outcome beats "word of mouth" !!!

Give your products to people/companies to try for free. Their approval will be all you need to start the ball rolling. It can make you or break you!

Good Luck!!

its called stickers...make a website for your business explaining who and what, where.. and why it is....make a LOT of stickers with your web address on them... post them on all the street stop signs.... and public libraries...and public billboards, groceries and such.... or make a lot of flyers and put them on peoples windshields,,, sure half will disregard all of it.. but the other half wont, and the other half will look, and maybe half of that half will like you.. then that remaining 1/4 will tell another 1/4 of people, and so on,, thats how you get started, and good luck!
