My definition of the word celebrity:
A person(s) who was on television once or twice, an EX member of a boyband or girl band who in the first place split up because they went on a crappy TV talent contest. Or someone with huge boobs that no-one knows.
But the question is what a real "celebrity" is - well i guess most of the above mentioned are because the word "celebrity" literally means a nobody who wants a come back.
A famous person on the other hand is known by everybody worldwide - like rock stars or film stars. These are the "real" celebrities.

the way to make big brother and other "ooh look at me and love me before you realise i'm an irritating no mark!" is quite simple the main prize on big brother and every other mind numbingly dull "reality" tv show should be the winner gets to execute all the losers on live tv using methods from the film saw!!!!

I love the reality shows, but I have to admit I only knew Jan Leeming, Toby (thingy), Faith Brown and Jason Donovan in Jungle. But don't forget these shows are for people who want to be something!
