A lot should depend on the last name, how many syllables, and what the last letter of the first name is.... does it "flow" well into the last name. For example, a name with a vowel as it's last letter doesn't really merge into a last name that also begins with a vowel... e xample. Maria Andrews. Whereas, Elizabeth Andrews somehow just "floats" better. It also doesn't work very well if the first letter of a last name is the same as the last letter - or the last vocal sound - of the first name. I had a friend whose name was Claire Raynes. She hated it. lol, she said it sounded too much like Clarence. How much nicer does something like "Melissa Raynes" sound? And always think about how that child might feel about the name he or she got at birth, when they might end up in some kind of occupation where their name is often repeated. I think it's important, when naming a child, to recognise that it's not really about you, but about the handle that kid is going to be stuck with for the rest of his or her life.

Love Lillia what a beautiful name. My friend just called her daughter Scarlet, she has jet black hair and blue eyes so it really suits her. I like Harrison for a boy but even that is becoming popular. If it helps my children are called Michael, Bethany and Aaron. My sister is called Laurie which is quite rare. I also have brothers called Nathan, Thomas and Jordan. That is a hard one . Good luck, I waited till my children were born to see what they suited.
