Sorry to say - it's not possible and anyone who tells you differently is playing around with you. The only solution to weight loss is eating a healthy diet along with moderate exercise. Anything else is foolishness, a waste of time and unhealthy for your mind & body.
You might better serve this upcoming event with the thought that you are a beautiful and magnificent individual just the way you are. God loves you and is with you in this. Look to Him to be filled with His peace and love.
And in the meantime, why not start into a new lifestyle by changing your daily food intake and adding an exercise routine if you've not already done this.
Hope this helps

You sound desperate so I can predict you'll probably ignore the general "you shouldn't do that" and "it's not safe" advice, so I'm going to be a little more specific. Efforts at losing 20 pounds in two weeks could permanently alter your body's ability to regulate blood sugar. It will likely cause some kind of kidney damage, hopefully, but not necessarily, temporary. You will become dehydrated. Lack of nutrients in your body will leave you much more susceptible to serious infections, not all of which are curable. You could also be left with organ damage - eyes, liver, etc. This will happen whether you currently weigh an average amount, or even if you are currently overweight.
Multiply the chances of organ damage if you use some kind of herbal supplement or "helper" to take off the pounds.
Of course not everyone who loses weight fast experiences all of these problems, but most will experience at least some. I want you to be sure it's worth the risk. Please consider other options that allow you to stay healthy and lose one or two pounds. Hire a seamstress if you're worried about fitting into something - that's what they do.

Why do you need to lose 20 pounds in such a short period of time? Learn to love yourself the way you are. You didn't tell us how big you are, but you're probably an average size and simply think that you are bigger then you actually are. Tyra Banks did a whole show about this last night.
If you really want to lose weight, do it properly. Eat healthy food and exercise. Losing more then a few pounds a week is unhealthy.

Are you serious? Yes? Try this then. Eat 3 eggs with a glass of grapefruit juice or a half grapefruit 3 times a day for no more than 3 days at a time. Eat a normal low carb diet on other days. If this doesn't work determine which of your limbs weighs 20 pounds and chop it off.

This would be COMPLETELY unhealthy, DON'T EVEN TRY!!! You can't and shouldn't lose 20 pounds in 1 or 2 weeks, lose, instead, 2-3 pounds per week. This is very unhealthy of you! DON"T!!!

I dont really dont have any ideas. But I would think that if someone did try to lose 20lbs in a week or 2 it would make them end up in the hospital. Just diet and exercise normally and if you end up losing wieght then good for you. If not, then accept the things you can not change.

If you are a heart patient, and need to lose weight before surgery, your doctor's could recommend it, but not being a doctor I can not recommend it out of ethics, sorry, but the diet I believe did come from a reputable University and has assisted many heart patients. If you are healthy and need to lose for vanity sake, I would vote for the other answerer's because your health foremost is a concern to all of us here.
