ive been doin so good but now im just stuck.
the game keeps on telling me i need a raise but i go to work every day and NEVER get a raise (believe me i do everything)..........
what do i do?? is there some cheats thet willl help???

You got to make sure you have all the friends required and all the charisma etc.... points needed and make sure that u have ur needs green too that should help.

You need to see if you have enough friends, and they show you how many friends you need to fulfill this (Relationship over 50%), besides you need to take a look at the skills they ask you to, for example:
They show you a line on what level of a skill you need to maintain in order to be promoted. To raise your skills:
Charisma: talk in front of the mirror
Body: do workouts or swim
Creativity: Play piano or draw.
Logic: Look through the telescope or play chess.
Cooking: Read cooking books from the library.
Mechanical: Read mechanic books from the library.
Besides, make sure that he/she has a happy mood upon leaving to work. Good luck!

properly i dont study the sims for ps2 yet on the sims 2 for computing gadget you want to have the acquaintances be outdoors of the family contributors. to be able to get a promoting in a job, as an get mutually, you desire a particular quantity of acquaintances although the game wont count number family contributors because the acquaintances. sorry if this doesnt help.

make sure you have enough friends and skills, and try to leave in a good mood. save up some money and buy lanscaping stuff that increases your room thing, and make sure you sleep and eat before work. another thing you could do is, right before work, maybe an hour before, save, then bring up the cheat window (ctrl+shift+C or something like that) and type move_objects on. then pick up your character and delete it. then bring it back by clicking on it's picture in the family thing. i hope that helps

You have to invite other Sims over and make friends. Also buy a mirror so your charisma points go up. Buy the friends gifts too. Sims is so fun.

Hello, I have some suggestions
First of all are you meeting all requirements:
-enough family friends
-enough skills points (e.g.,body, ceativity,cooking,logic)
-are you going to work hungry, unclean or high bladder
(this is bad)
-MOST IMPORTANTLY is your sim happy when going to
work (No one will give a raise to a grumpy sim)

um you have tp make sure you have enough friends, all the skills the job calls for, and you have to go to work a couple days in a good mood.
