It's cause they're cool and we aren't. Think you know how to party? Think again brother. Nobody parties like Paris Hilton. Shes the best. I love her. It's amazing how her life is just one long Party. It's like:
Wake up: alarm goes off at exactly Party Time.
Lunch: off to Party with other ppl
Dinner: Party meal
Evening time: It doesn't matter what day of the week it is or what is happening the next day. It's half past party time already and Paris is part'a'ying already.
Then when she's asleep she has Party dreams. I hate it when I get those personally. I have to shower in the morning. Not Paris though, she has shower parties (probably).
So in answer to your question: That's why Paris Hilton is my idol.

I don't think it's vacuous to like to talk about celebs. It's only if you truly have no other interests that it's vacuous. I have other things in my life that make it very worth while like Yahoo Answers and......er.....yeah, anyway, whatever!

It works perfectly, I get gossip but don't have to buy any Christmas presents.

i hav a life of my own but i am interested in what they do e.g. the movies they make (cos i watch them)
the music they make (cos i listen to it)
other than that im not interested in their whole personal life drama and all that bull s***.

i aint.... they are normal people the same as us (although you do look weird)...why are u so interested in wot we think... it's just human nature to be curious, be it geared towards celebrities or the next door neighbour... and plus they give lots of people who choose not to talk about them self something to talk about... yep i think that about sums it up!!!!

okay number one WE DO HAVE OUR OWN LIVES, and its intresting and when theres nithing to do, or free time(which doesnt happen that much) u do these kind of things. and u probally dont have ur own life,
