Recently I gave 2 families with Autistic children each an expensive Pomeranian puppy that I could have easily sold for $12OO.OO EACH.They have shown much interest in my babies for months but could not afford one.One of the families just adopted their autistic children and have much difficultly understanding the handicap.I know that sometimes children can be reached in many different ways with autism so I decided to do this hoping for a miracle for both families. Not only has the babies helped get through to the children but the children have responded favorable to the new puppies. My husband gave me "MUCH" grief had a fit ,gripped because he thought we could use the money ,because I myself have an incurable illness.Anyway god blesses me everyday that I get up too many ways to write here. But the day after I gave theses puppies away My Maltese had 4 fluffy white beautiful babies that were a total surprise. We have both the male and the female but we had no idea they had bred yet.She is kinda chubby and WOW now we know why .But I gave away 2 and god blessed me with 4 .This is just a tiny little example of give away 2 and get 4.God is great! you can never measure his greatness it is Awsume.I did not expect anything for my gift to these autistic angels.Perhaps God thought it was a good Idea even if my husband didn't?Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!!

Jesus said at Matthew 7:21-23 that we have to do God's will to get his favor. Churches promote the idea that giving money gets blessings but this is not consistent with what the bible says. Jesus also said at Matthew 10: 7-10 that we receive free so give free. Now doesn't sound a lot more like the kind of God that the bible speaks about.
You are right to show respect to God and its important to make efforts to draw close to him as it says in James chapter 4.

I'm not sure about specifics, but it is always a blessing to give and/or to forgive. I feel happy and blessed every time I do it. I have also been blessed so much by others, and of course by God. Like you said, you can't out give God. Therefore it is always a blessing and privilege to give whatever you can whenever you can.

Every time I tithe, or donate I am blessed. God loves a cheerful giver. What we have comes from God, so who are we to not share His blessings? God Bless, and Happy Thanksgiving.

Yes, all the time....I usually give to Joseph's people, part of St. Joseph's church in Downingtown, PA - where they help those who are out of work, downsized at their work, or just plain have needs...and they give out food at Thanksgiving.
The smile comes from knowledge that I helped people get back on their feet, regardless of any religious connection. GOD chooses how to bless...and mine was a secret....helping my good friends get the medical attention immediately, and it may have saved their lives!
Thanks GOD for everything!
