Do fake eye lashes actually look fake when worn? Would it be obvious that I am wearing fake lashes or would they look real?
Also, for someone who's used them? What are the best brands? best procedures for putting them on? Any help would be appreciated

I've tried the mascara thing... doesn't do much for me, lashes are too small
Oh, and I'm a regular contact wearer... is that a problem?

Some of them look real, but most of them look fake. Just get some really good mascara, and then you will have the long eyelashes you are wanting. Good luck!

The most natural looking lashes are individuals but they're a little tricky. Keep the lashes moderate length. and use black liner to hide the seem also after applying use mascara to hold the fake and real lashes together. to apply put a little glue on the fake lash wait 30 seconds for glue to get tacky then use a q-tip press the lash into your lash line ( try getting the q-tips that have a pointed tip) if you put the lash on and it doesn't quite go on you lash line use the q-tip to push it into place before the glue drys. It drys clear so no worries

Hey there, I bought some for halloween, but unfortunately I couldn't wear them because I had really small lids...so make sure that you have big enough eyelids (where your lashes are) to make sure that the fake ones can fit on there. Be sure if you do buy them to buy them from someplace like Ulta or Sally and not the grocery store as a beauty salon place will probably have higher quality. Never hurts to try and see what you think, each person is different. Good luck!

yes they look very fake, not unless you have them short and the size of your actual lash. and people no Right away because women get them way to long to look natural. as for me i by a good mascara and my eyes look great it gives volume and length and everyone comments on how nice they look. i don't wear fake lashes so i can't help you out there but i know where i live we have salons that put them on for about 10 bucks . hope this helped lol

Well my friend recently went to Mac to get her make up done for her birthday and she got fake lashes put on(Mac provided it).. The lashes looked so pretty and natural... I didn't even notice they weren't hers.. lol
The secret is to put a little line of black where the lashes attach..
So you might want to buy some eyeliner for this... Then people will never notice! :)

If you put them on right they look real but you feel fake. If you put them on then they will probably stand out, but if you have someone who knows how to put them on then it would look as fake.

well...depends on the length and how thick they are. i like the sugar brand..but i got them kinda thick..BUT I LOVE THEM! that link below has a lot of things. also the sephora delux lash kit makes it VERY EASY to put them on!! good luck!
