Neocons here can't wait to start ripping the democrats in Congress. They are HOPING they totally fail.

Isn't that somewhat anti-american in itself? Wouldn't you want the Democrats to do a good job and help right this country? Or are you simply too blind to see how harrowing a path we are headed down to realize we NEED a major change?

When Bush took office, I was hopeful it wouldn't turn out so bad. I was even hopeful it might be "ok". Sure, I pretty much expected disaster, but I kept an open mind about it. I think its horrible for our country that he did such a horrendous job. I wish we weren't in this situation, I really do.

First, I hope you realize that your Neocons label is kind of funny to us conservatives. Its one that liberals love to use to describe a profile that they love to overlay on the rest of the conservatives with but to us its kind of silly cause it just some media thing.

Second, this is VERY important. Conservatives (as I hope our liberal counterparts) care more about this country than words can describe. So, yes as a very proud member of the conservative side of thinking I understand we've had some stupid/corrupt/lazy/{more expletives here} represenatives (high and low) over the last 4-8 years and we are not very proud of it.

Finally, I pray that somebody can fix it and I believe it comes with fresh ideas and new energized people. The Republicans (the politicians I'm talking about now) got fat and happy and forgot who they represented. They are now gone or at least their power gone they got what they deserved am I happy? Well, let me put it this way I happy some bad/lazy apples are out of town.

So heres to new possiblities! Our day will come in 2 years but let's see where this train takes us.

Unfortunately the response from Mark K is typical. They're not capable of seeing the big picture, that's in the best interests of the country for both parties to work together. They see every criticism from the opposition as an attack or spin. God forbid they actually look at what is being said to see if there is any merit. They view the world in a myopic, partisan way so they assume everyone else thinks in the same narrow terms.

LOL actually Liberals did not give Bush any credit for anything from day one. They attacked him for winning the election against Gore despite multiple recounts that proved that Bush won. They screamed about "Stolen elections" up until the last one (why is that?) when the Dems won.
They spoke of the "culture of corruption" but after taking power try to nominate 2 of the most corrupt Democrats to high ranking positions, Rep. John Murtha (abscam bribery) and Alstee Hastings (one of only a handful of bribed judges to EVER be impeached).
The truth is that all the Dem's have done since Bush was elected IS complain. When asked about their actual plan, they seem to be struck silent.
Can anyone tell me their plan for a better America? Certainly not tax hikes and Socialist healthcare.

The difference between conservatives and Liberals: We don't hate you for your beliefs, we just disagree with you.

Being in the military both effect me.
I serve because i love my country and I want to help in making it a safe place. However as long as i have been in the Army, the military has been a tool for politicians. So I have no choice but to care about both.
Congress has a chance to put us back on track. We have a new Defense Secretary. As Americans we have sent a clear message to our government that the way things are right now are not the way they are supposed to be.
Let's give them a chance. They can't make things any worse than they already are.

Obama does not extremely have a healthcare suggestion on the table, so your criticism does not make a brilliant sort of expertise. HR 3200 is a bad invoice, and the Republicans are to be congratulated for opposing it. There are truthfully opportunities to reform healthcare contained in the USA, yet each and every of the stable recommendations are coming from outdoors the Democrat social gathering.

I voted for Bush and I feel the same way. I made a mistake. I hope the Democrats do a better job, including spending less money.

Whatever political party is in office, we blame them for everything wrong in the country. The Republicans say they are conservatives, but look at what has occurred under their current leadership. Sex scandals, money scandals, leaks, and a war that we are not winning. If the Democrats have a good answer and can make it work for the good of America, more power to them.

The Dems' agenda is wrong for America, wrong for prosperity and contrary to the freedoms and liberties that were our birthright under the Constitution.

Weren't you people just saying that it is the height of Patriotism to question authority?

Hypocrites.

Nice try at this spin, but we all know that the Democrats are far more rotten than Republicans.
