I am considering getting my MA in Religious Studies, but am also toying with the idea of getting my M.Div. What are the main differences, and what can I do with each?

P.S. If i get my MA, I'll probably go on and get my doctorate to be a Religion professor. I'm already in the AAR, but my focus is more towards Biblical Studies, SBL stuff.

With a M.Div, you could become an ordained minister. The other, you could take that and earn your PhD in divinity.
