While in modern-day USA this is unacceptable, you have to try to understand it in the context of accepted practices at the time. During the time when these religious texts were written, people didn't live very long to begin with, so getting married early was kind of a matter of survival.

I would say that your average Muslim would want nothing to do with pedophilia.

You also have to remember that in England, it was accepted practice for the ruling Lord to be allowed to sleep with the bride of any groom before a marriage was consummated.

i am not a Muslim but i got my education in Europe, i cant believe that our kids believe things like that, we need better education system, and we need parents to pay attention to what there kids are asking so they can teach them. your answer is yes, and Mohamed was never married to a 6 ... i think she was14 years old.
