He is a year away from getting his doctorate in Psychology, and plans to go into practice as a clinical shrink, but he sleeps with his light on, smokes dope everyday and claims that he talks with God!

Makes me wonder if I should EVER see one of these guys!

Nah my old roommate tops that,
He used to hang pictures all over the side of his room of baby orangutans and leaves. One day I put black electrical tape all over their eyes and explained to him that they would not stop looking at me.

Would you rather he acted like a monk? He sounds very normal, more than half the population talks with God, many of us like a light or the tv on when we sleep, and smoking pot does not make you crazy in the least. Now if he's smoking crack or meth, that's another story......
I don't understand what your problem is?

There is a running joke among psychologists that the reason they go into psychology is to cure their own problems, maybe some truth to the matter?

For one element, it feels like there is countless suggestion lacking in this tale. besides, television exhibits and Hollywood over-exaggerate "witchcraft" right into a sort that may no longer real and thoroughly stereotypical to attraction to Christian audiences. This woman, if she extremely existed, substitute into no longer Wiccan or a Witch by utilising any skill. The Pagans on the instant do no longer dress in all black as a goth as is the stereotype which seems to be the element that this instruct substitute into eye-catching to. And besides, a grimoire or e book of shadows is constituted of MANY books no longer only one. And spells, as others have pronounced, are made up by utilising the author of those books. there is not any trouble-free "e book of spells" as is the stereotype it extremely is obviously used right here. and additionally, this individual if she extremely substitute right into a individual working in direction of Wicca or witchcraft, would not have executed this form of spell because of the wear and tear none rule enforced by utilising the threefold regulation. besides, Wiccans who practice witchcraft do no longer solid any spell without first casting a circle. It only feels like this tale substitute right into somewhat fishy and alter into the two made up or blown out of share to attraction to a often Christian aim industry. My suggestion to you is to do your study on Paganism and witchcraft from valid sources (IE no longer Christian sources) so which you certainly be attentive to those issues in the past you watch those forms of exhibits.

everyone thinks their roomie is the wierdest, but to be honest yours is wierd. However, consider this, is it really affecting you? Unless you are in need of counceling, don't worry about him(or his major). If you do, look for someone that puts off a good vibe to you. However, I'd have to say that he's just one bad example.

Some psychologists are naturally weird. They study psychology so they can try to know themselves better. Getting paid for listening to others is a bonus. :)

It seems to me that many psychologists have as many, if not more, problems/issues as their patients.
