Michigan is at least the 2nd best team in the country and deserves a rematch. I'm an OSU fan, and I know that if anyone but Michigan goes to the National Championship game (which is not the Rose Bowl) OSU will get the title.

I want the rematch and here is why:

The whole point of the BCS is supposed to be having the two best teams play in the championship. Michigan is definitely a lot better than N.D. and USC. If Michigan doesn't rematch, they should do away with the BCS (which I would be cool with, because I hate the BCS).

Being a huge OSU fan, I didn't want a rematch because I just wanted the title, but now I do and I'll tell you why:

1. Michigan is better than the rest of the teams in NCAA Football.
2. Troy Smith would be the first OSU QB to beat Michigan 4 times
3. OSU's center will not mis-snap the ball twice and cut our turnovers in half (helping us win by more than 3 points).
4. Michigan's Hart said that OSU is nothing special and if they play again Michigan will beat OSU. I would like to see Hart eat those words!
5. Another victory against Michigan will help OSU's stats in that rivalry (beating them twice a year will help us catch up quickly :))
6. Llyod Carr said that this was the best team he has ever coached, so I like the idea of the OSU team being better. And it would be cool to have them be beat twice.

Yep, Ohio State does not play in the Rose Bowl this year. They will go to the new stadium in Arizona for the National Championship game. Against Michigan????

Ohio State isn't going to PLAY in the Rose Bowl. I think that the national championship is the Fiesta Bowl this year?

I guarantee Ohio State wont win the Fiesta, Rose, Sugar, or Orange bowl this year none of them. The BCS now has its own title game played on the 8th of Jan in Arizona after the other 4 bowl games that use to rotate the championship game.

There's not a chance in heaven, hell or earth that Ohio St will win the Rose Bowl because they WON'T BE PLAYING IN THE ROSE BOWL!
They will be playing in the BCS National Championship Game in Glendale, AZ!

They are going to the national title game, not the rose bowl. michigan will end up in the rose bowl instead UNLESS they remain #2 in BCS standings... that can only happen if all of the one loss teams fall apart - ND will need to beat USC and FL will need to lose as well. It's unlikely, but a possibility

OK because of all this confusion I must clarify. The BCS added an extra bowl game this year, so instead of making a new name up for a bowl or using an existing one they decided to stop making one of the big time bowls the championship game. They added the Championship game as its own game and since it was the fiesta bowls time to hold it they decided to hold it in the same place! Go Bucks!!!!!!!!!!!

OSU is the best team out there, but I am not a fan of a rematch. Michigan had their chance and did admirably. It is time for another team to get their chance to get beat by Ohio State.

Story time: I got a phone solicitor last year who said they were doing a study for UM. He asked if I could answer a few questions. I told him that I would if he could tell me where UM was located. He said that he did not know, that he was being paid to do the study. Needless to say, I did not complete the interview.

Um, WOW! I'm pretty sure that I know where my team is going to play in a bowl game. Especially if they are playing for a national championship. They are not playing in the Rose Bowl...and you call yourself a fan.
