Sugar is like cigarettes and alcohol the more you get the more you need. It is an addiction though many do not wish to believe this. Cut back a little each day and slowly wean yourself off the sugar. But make sure you do not get your sugars from another source. Our miraculous bodies have a way of getting what it is they want whether we realize it or not. I was a smoker, 1 and 1/2 packs a day. Each week I would smoke 1 less cigarette than the week before towards the end I smoked less of the cigarette than I did before. Finally I could put them down and walk away and never go back to them. Unfortunately sugar is in just about everything in some form or another. So you can't just not eat sugar. But you can drop your intake of it drastically. Just not at one time.

The problem is the drink itself. Don't drink softdrink. The sugar will spike your sugar level and with that, you'll feel more hungry later on.
Use water instead, also, eat fruits. Orange is a good appetite supresser.

that is a lot a lot. are you overweight?
there are at least twenty teaspoon of sugar in soda! so it's a lot of energy. that's from discovery channel.
well i suggest looking up on diabetes, heart diseases, hypertension etc. print them out to remind yourself what you dont want to end up like.
stop buying SOFT DRINKS and change to real FRUIT juice. that's to accomodate your taste for sugary foods. i doubt real fruit juice are cheap, so you should also cut back on that too.
try that for a week. but it'll probably take a month to kick off a habit, but only seven days to form.
if these doesnt work, and since you're already aware that you have a problem by posting here, you should probably go to your doctor..
best luck! remember, stay healthy! you dont know how harmful those drinks are to your body in such huge amounts! that's more than the water i drink a day!

slowly switch to water or tea. ur body will still crave the caffeine so dont quit cold turkey or u will get headaches and such. but the reason ur body craves the softdrinks is ur thirsty and sodas with carbonation, etc cause u to be more thirsty than if u were drinking something else.

Have you been to a doctor? maybe there is a medical reason you are craving that much sugar/caffeine. If it's not medical, drink water instead, every time you want soda. it takes two weeks to break a habit, and two weeks to make a habit. then instead of gaining weight, and over working your pancreas, you will be hydrated, and you'll lose weight ( if that's even an issue)

At least make sure it's caffeine free diet! Then start to substitute a half liter of water to that amount of soda, and then gradually build up to mostly water.
