Does everything happen for a reason or do things just happen?

It is clear that nothing can happen without a reason. A bold from the blue is only a poetic licence. But the reason in this case is nothing but the circumstances preceding the incident. There is no suggestion that it is preordained in some way. When we deal in cards the cards get mixed. There is some order in this mixing and the particular place which a card comes to occupy. But if one were to say that the dealer is the one who orders this sequence it is not true. It only indicates that the act of dealing plces the cards in a random sequences. That's all.

This interpretationd does away with destiny altogether. The underlying idea of destiny is that the sequence of events is some way already preset and the comes about in that predetermined order. This is untenable. It is nothing but credulity to believe that we have no free will but are mere slaves of some superior being who has programmed us.

The process of evolution with all its gushing forward and then for no apparent reason retracing its steps and going on a different route without an y rhyme or reason shows that things are happening according to the law of error and correction without, however, any suggestion of any preset mathematical model.

I believe that everyone's choices are half chance, Destiny is a choice and truly unavoidable. Everything happens for a reason and I know this because things just keep happening.

Yes my destiny is suppose to be calling me but he wait 2 weeks to call so I am putting him on notice. Yes I believe things happen for a reason. I also believe you can change your destiny. Destiny has nothing to do with it. Ultimately you are in control of how your life turns out.

I don't really believe in chance because I don't have much experience of getting lucky.

However... I do believe in destiny.
Destiny has solved my problems out of the blue more times than I can recall.

I don't think you can change your destiny. You have to go with the flow. After all, if you could change it, it would not be called "destiny".

Everything in this world is for a reason and everyone in this life has a true purpose we must fulfill during this lifetime. Otherwise, why would we even exist? There is no reason to exist without purpose. Also, there is no such thing as coincidence.
BUT this does not mean that what we do is "fate" we still make our own decisions and have our free will, but our decisions always lead us in the right or wrong direction towards our purpose.

Destiny. All things happen for a reason. The game is to try to understand the reason. All too often I think the lesson goes unlearned. And that is sad.

I believe that some things happen for a reason, but not all. There are signs and we should make every attempt to understand them.

Most of the occurrences of the world just happen. There is no pre-destination. There is no plan for every occurrence. God would not have given us free will and then pre-plan everything.

Take care,
Troy

Things happen for a reason, but you're not obliged to know all the reasons for each and every circumstance.

There's no such thing as chance, better put it as fate.. but it's up to you to make things happen.
