How do illegal immigrants live?

Where do they get money for food? How are they homed?

It baffles me as to how they get by. Everywhere you turn i.e. jobs, benefits, car etc people want to see your papers.

I would be homeless, probably, without any official documentation.

What I meant was, surely they must have contacts here that will feed and clothe them before they manage to get an unnoficial job (called being "on the fiddle" in the UK).

You must be a dumb blonde. Immigrants live as normal as you as matter of fact you wouldn't be able to know who is in immigrant or who isn't. My mother was an immigrant my cousin, and my aunt are immigrants and the answers that some of you people put are offensive. Not all of us are born privileged. Let me set something straight you wont see any mexicans or any other immigrants asking for money we and all of us in general work are asses off for are bread. We do the work you dumb blondes, you lazy rednecks can't do. That fancy little BMW you can't wash we wash it , the lawn of your mansion we cut it, we clean your houses because ofcourse we wouldn't want you ladies to get your hands dirty. And WE clean your toilets so you can **** on them.. We are not here to take anything we are here to earn a living because in are country's we are starving to death because we are being paid 50 pesos a day, that's $5.00 dollars a day. SO this thanksgiving when you eat your turkey and drink your expensive wine think about it. There are Immigrants who are being taken advantage of they probally won't be able to afford a turkey.... So you eat in peace with your self because in its in your nature to overlook the people in need.

That is why we cant get help if we need it.
More "Americans" are homeless than any other nationality.
If we began "charity" at home it would not be that way.

You know what? Before you get up on your HIGH HORSES, try and visit some of these countries where they come from, what if your goverment was so corrupt you didn't even have medical help when you needed it? Or your children needed it?

What if you didn't even have clean water for you or your family? Or you lived with the knowledge that should someone decide to rape and murder you then nothing would be done about it?
Would you stay? Or for your sake, and the sake of your family, would you do whatever it took to change the situation, even if it meant breaking another countries laws?

I don't speak for those who come to our countries and abuse our systems, but alot of them work VERY hard in jobs most of us would turn our noses up at, for very little money.

Not everything is black and white people, don't judge everybody with the common negative view, that's what the unimformed do.

Before an illegal immigrant comes to the U.S. they normally know what to do... usually they find an under the table job, some restaurants will hire them. Or there is always modern day slavery where they are promised a wage, home, food, etc. but usually recieve barely any of it and are trapped working for someone. Modern day slavery is actually a big problem in and out of the U.S. from illegal immigrants.. usually they can easily find their way in places like Queens, NY or any parts of NYC except for probably Manhattan. They always figure out something.
