Yoga has some great poses for headaches. The key is to know your body and get into the pose at the very onset of your headache- don't wait until it is already pounding. Go to yogajournal.com and click on "pose finder", then select "headache" under therapeutic applications. You don't want to take medication every time you have a headache, even if the doctor says it's safe for the baby. Acetaminophen (tylenol) is very bad for your liver and any med, if taken too often, can eventually become ineffective because your body gets used to it.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information

To simplify "Dr Soul's" answer, please do NOT take belladonna with out strict supervision from a practitioner, it is DEADLY poison in the wrong hands! If you just have a simple headache, White Willow Bark capsules (2 caps every 4 hours) will do the trick. Make sure you are using the whole herb variety of capsule. If you are using standardized dosing, follow the directions on the bottle to the letter. If you are suffering from migraine headaches, Feverfew tincture under the tongue will solve your problem. This plants nick-name is Migraine-few! If these don't work for you, but I have no indication to think they won't, please email me & we can "discuss" it further. Good Luck!

Dim light sometimes helps; massage your neck/temples; can you get a heat wrap for the neck? That helps me a lot. They have those that you can microwave and just hang around your neck, or the stick-on throw-away kind (more expensive, but lasts longer).

I usually use some a bag of ice and then when my forehead gets too cold, I just sleep it off.
