Click Start
Run
type msconfig
remove the unwanted items from the startup list
Make sure you know what you are removing if not do a search on the name first

Click, Start, Run, type msconfig, ok. Click the startup tab and remove the unnecessary entries.

i cant exactly remember how to do it but it is located in the startup configuration
