I thought it was rude of him to say that stuff and I'm no longer a fan of his.

I definitely have been thinking approximately this plenty. i've got confidence Michael Richards is appearing a stunt to pay homage to Andy Kaufman and likewise revive his profession. The coincidences are only too many. before everything, there is the glaring connection of Richards and Kaufman with the "Fridays" skit. I examine an interview that Richards did in Aspen, Co in 2002. In that piece, he mentions that he exchange into in on the tirade. He even says that he and Andy got here up with the skit concept mutually. Now it gets real loopy. 27 years in the past on November 27, Kaufman exchange into appearing at Kutsher's motel in upstate ny. The ordinary exchange into not properly won. Andy exchange into very unhappy and left day after in the present day. Andy shouted "you're this variety of folk who provide Jews a foul call!!” Sounds alot like what Kramer did... enable's not overlook it exchange into Andy who exchange into on Letterman apologizing approximately his comments approximately females in 1982 long earlier this week's visual charm by utilising Richards. additionally, did not Richard’s apology look very comical? The aim audience exchange into guffawing. He even slipped into some Kramerisms for the time of the speech. Jerry even suggested, why are you guffawing on Letterman...feels like Kaufman. Did everybody discover it atypical that he persevered to stroll the degree like he exchange into doing his act on a similar time as he exchange into yelling the racist comments, pausing between lines for the objective audience to react besides as to take heed to the responses from the "hecklers"?

People are blowing this out of proportion. There is a racist double standard in this country and it's sickening. If you ever watch uncensored black comedians they refer to white people as crackers, cracker devils, honkey, white bread and who knows what else and not a thing is ever brought up about these racist terms. But the very minute a white person uses a term like this he is crucified. We need to all follow the same standards or use no standards at all. If I was him I wouldn't have even apologized.

It is STILL making me sick! I'm a die-hard Seinfeld fan, but I was never really a fan of Kramer, only because I dont like physical comedy. My favorite interactions were always between George and Jerry.
I saw them interview the guys in the audience, and they said it was even worse than just the film, and Kramer said "outta my way, *******" on the way up to the stage, and when they came in he said the poor people came in.
I'm a standup myself- it can get frustrating up there, but I've been doing it for 25 years, and I never use those words onstage. I once called a girl a ***** in a road rage, but never onstage, that's the worst I've been.
All that said, I don't think anyone would want their worst moment caught on tape and put on youtube- right people?

It was terrible. I think he is just sorry he got caught. Nope...not a fan either anymore. I am just waiting for him to say he is checking into rehab that seems to be the excuse all the Celebs are using these days.
I am also not a fan of Mel Gibson anymore either. Everytime I have been drunk I always less inhibited and said things I always wanted to say but wouldn't. So, I don't believe a word Mel says! I think he is also sorry he got caught spewing the hate he actually believes.

I love him on "Seinfeld" but I was shocked to hear what he said. I find it hard to believe that he just blurted it all out in anger. My thinking is, maybe he already felt that way, and in his rage, he just lost his inhibitions. I've gotten really angry before but I've never said anything like that, because I don't feel that way. I never use that word, and I don't think he just suddenly thought of it and used it in anger. I think there is a strong possibility he already had some of those thoughts and he lost control.
And no, it was not a joke. It was not meant to be funny. It was him losing his self-control, it was pure, uncontrolled anger and that's not funny.

the media is blowing it up into a huge thing
i'm not trying to dismiss what Richards said, because no doubt it was WRONG and OFFENSIVE.
but lets be real here, how many of us would have heard about it if the media hadn't replayed it over and over and over again?

when people get onto tirades like that, they are saying what's in their minds all the time. The claim that they aren't racist doesn't hold water because people who are truely racist don't even think to say things like that!
