The Boston Red Sox lineup for 2007. Is it way out there or it could actually be what happens in the offseason?

"First things first. Daiske Matsuzaka will NEVER play a game for the Red Sox because I dont think they're stupid enough to invest over $100 million for a guy who is going to go 14-14 with a 4.80 ERA in MLB. Trust me, the guy is gonna get shelled every day out there."
He is expected to win a cy young. You deny it because of sheer ignorance. That or you are a yankee fan.
"Second, JD Drew is not that good of a player. He is one of the most overrated free agents I've seen in a long time."
He is actually underrated. He will probably, if he plays a complete season, hit 30+ homeruns, and bat .270-.300.
"Third. All Josh Beckett knows hoiw to do is give up home runs. He's another gigantic waste of money."
He is 25 or something. You are an idiot. He has proven he can pitch with the big leaguers at such a young age, it's much more impressive than that fool Chien Ming Wang, who will blow out his arm next year guarunteed.
"Fourth. Schilling is gonna be a .500 pitcher at best next year, he's too old."
Stupidest statement I have ever heard. You guys have Johnson, who is a year older, and less talented.

It is called an injury. He will bat .300 this year.

Fat Papi.. Good one. All you guys have is A Roids, Giambi (6% Body Fat, 82% Performance Enhancers). Damon (Sellout), and Abreu, I admit hes good.
We also have Julio Lugo to fill that SS position.
The sox have it this year. And to the person I just quoted, please, don't speak. You have clearly shown that you have no understanding of the game. All you are doing is giving Sox fans a good laugh.

Why do people think the Red Sox rotation is so great?
Schilling: Still solid, but getting older
Beckett: Yeah, he beat the Yankees in 2003. What has he done since? Gives up too many home runs.
Papelbon: Great closer. Will he be durable enough to join the rotation and throw over 200 innings?
Matsuzaka: Unproven. Who knows?
Wakefield: Doesn't scare anybody. Innings-eater, serviceable fifth starter
The middle infield has to be a huge concern for the Red Sox. That was a strength last season, but it's a question mark right now.

JD Drew is, perhaps, the most overrated free agent of all time. YOu also have to realize taht Beckett can't pitch in a big market and Man Ram is likely not going to be returing to the Red sox next year.
Lowell got screwed out of the Golden Glove though

I think they're going to end up keeping Papelbon in the pen. I think Beckett will be the ace next year and Schilling will take the #2 role. Manny is going to get traded, but I think they will sign JD Drew. Also as someone mentioned before, Pedroia will move to SS and Cora will play secondbase.

Right now what most likely would happen. Pedroia could move to short and the Sox resigned Cora but Manny would never lead off but I am guessing this isn't the order.

Crisp and Varitek cant hit for sh*t...crisp is easily baseballs biggest flop....who is pedroia? no one besides rsn has heard of this guy....lowell can hit .300 in the first half of any season, but always comes through with a .180 post all star break avg. Expect Drew to play no more than 90 games....yeah, im thinking another 3rd place finish.
