In order for you to gain weight you have to eat more calories than you burn in a day. If you do a search on yahoo, you can find a plethora of calorie calculators but the website below has a comprehensive calculator. You can select the option (under the drop down menu) to gain 1 pound a week. This should give you a basis on just how many calories are required to gain 1 pound per week (which is healthy weight gain).

Don't worry about everyone else's answer on here. I kno your pain girl...I am 5'7" and weigh 114 lbs. and finding clothes are very difficult for me as well. I would just suggest that you set realistic goals. You're just NOT going to gain 15 pounds in a month. 10 pounds may do you some good so expect it to take 3 months. Also, since its getting cold outside take advantage and layer up for bulk while you gain your weight.

Some people just can't gain weight....you might be one of them. See a doctor, and maybe a doctor can help you organize a high-protein or some other eating plan that will help you to gain weight.
