Why do Conservative men become upset when they hear?

The phrase “it’s the woman’s body, she has the right to chose” ---regarding abortion.

Certain conservatives.

I was called a "politically correct robot from the Cali-Land-of-Fruits-and-Nuts totally unattached from reality" ~by one Conservative on this board for pointing that out.

Because conservatives like to believe they know everything about everything, and they know what's right for everybody, and they like to control everything too. So to tell them there is an issue that they should have no opinion and no say in is like pouring oil on a fire.

Anyway, their BIBLE says that its wrong, so its neither THEIR opinion or a woman's opinion that matters, but GODS opinion. Of course, as interpreted by a man, but I digress irrespectively.

Well as a true conservative alpha male I don't mind it so much because it is the woman's body. But...

What I don't like is for for those to use it as a crunch instead of discussing the morality of killing a baby that is in the 2nd/3rd trimester of the pregnancy. That equals the blantant conservatives who can't answer the question of "if it was your 16 year old daughter what would you do?" (my wife asks me this all the time btw and I hate it of course).

But, if its a woman who is 18 years or older who finds out very early yes its her right and I hate to think a child will die because of a mistake but I don't believe I can do much about that if they really want to abort the child. But, my 16 year old daughter - I should have a say or worse yet. A 19 year old who is distraught because of her pregnancy in the late stages decides she can't handle it...that baby can live that's murder and anyone who stands behind the "woman's right" on that one is lying they are just protecting their political turf quite frankly. Because almost all infant children in the US are adoptable.

As a conservative man, I'd like to answer. It's not a matter of whether I'm upset or not, but if the question is why would I disagree with that statement, I'll answer as clear and brief as I can: The baby, before and after it is born, has a right to live. So whether the baby is born yet or not, we should protect his/her life.

Her right to choose ends after she chooses to engage in sex. Once there is a baby - a living, distinct human being, with a beating heart and unique DNA - in her womb, she should no longer have the choice.

"Rights" do not entail the death of a human.

What are the baby's rights? What are the father's rights? Why do they forfiet their ability to choose? Why choose death? Because it's inconvenient? How shallow, how selfish, how immoral is that?
