My boyfriend's birthday is 4 days before christmas. I'm thinking of getting him one gift. He is really into football and basketball. But I can only spend around 40 dollars on it. Ideas PLEASE!!

I would get him a sweatshirt and a hat or a PJ set of his favorite team. Check out Wal-Mart or Target (or another discount retailer) and you can get T-shirts around $10-15, sweatshirts $20-30 and PJ pants around $15-20.
I also go to Lids for all of my guy's hats, you can expect to spend about $20-30 on a nice hat.
Ok, and I'm guessing you're probably young and people are giving you rude comments about giving him a b-day and x-mas gift together. I'm sure he knows your situation. Don't feel bad about what you're doing, it's what you can afford. It's always the thought that counts! Good luck!

Get him 10 gifts and 5 are for his Birthday and 5 is for his Christmas Gifts.

I got my boyfriend Tickets to Dodger game last year. He was really happy. But remember to buy two tickets so you can go with him as well. And since there is a $40 limit...I think you should look for the tickets on eBAY.

Well for Christmas I got my boyfriend a personalized doggy tag. Yea a dog tag. I also got a chain. I wrote our "couple name", the day he asked me out, and I Love You one it. Well it was engraved. He loves it a LOT!

How about some cheap seats to his favorite basketball team's next home game? Or maybe a jersey with his favorite player's name? He can wear it any time.

Please do not cheat him by getting 1 gift for both occasions just becasue they fall near each other. How about if he gave you your Christmas gift and said Happy Bday too! That stinks.
