I think you should focus entirely on studies because in future you will be able to earn more if you complete higher studies. Don't get into business now. Study hard and get a desired job for yourself. All the best!

I appreciate your attitude and thirst to help the family ( I suppose). You can start the following ones which need minimal investment:
If you are in a flat system, you can tie with your association to start House keeping service ie cleaning, dusting the house, toilets etc and charging a nominal fee for the same. You have to buy a vacuum cleaner and toilet chemicals and few persons. Currently in Chennai some companies offer this service and they charge 8 Rs per Sq FT.
2. If you can design website and if you have a PC, you can start web designing.
3. You can sell packed vegetables that are cut and clean, you can start supplying them first within your colony and later you can expand.
The above are some low cost businesses fit for your age, but you should do financial transactions and speak terms only with help of your parents.
Also you should concentrate on your studies. Another thing, no business is bad till it is lawful. People surrounding you may criticise and water down you, but don't loose heart and show them who you are!
Best of luck!

well, that’s a great decision to start a business at this age, appreciate
but before y ask a question like this, you must be clear with some facts like;
what is your background
what is your potential
what is your experience(if any)
what is your taste
what have y experienced
do you have a family business
does your family depend on you?
how creative are you
do you have any work experience? (With your parents, or other family members)
do you have any idea in your mind?
Are you very much aware of the risks in business?
Are you willing to work 24/7/365 without getting tired? Both mentally and physically;
If you can give an answer for this I would definitely recommend a business for you.

My son at age 13 started his own lawn mowing, leaf raking ans snow shoveling business.
He did minimal advertising just by posting up business cards we made on the computer. He has been up and running for 7 1/2 years now and has to turn down people for he can't keep up.
Look around you and see what is needed by the elderly in your area. It could be something as simple as hitting up a retirement home and taking orders for the grocery store and you simply getting groceries for people.
Good luck and with an attitude of already wanting your own business, you will have one heck of a bright future. Just keep thinking !!!
