St. Nicholas Day is December 6th, and in tradition in the Netherlands, gifts are generally given to friends and family on the evening of the 5th. Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, not Santa Claus, and that is entirely different than St. Nicholas Day

We have a great time St. Nicolas Day. we are American atheists. i don't have self belief my celebrations are extra suitable important than any others. now no longer all trip journeys and celebrations are suitable to me or my kinfolk, and so we don't have a great time them. there's no longer any factor in enticing in a visit that has no meaning for you. i'm now no longer from Spain or Finland or Ghana, so why ought to I have a great time trip journeys specific to their cultures/international places? i would not assume somebody from Japan to have a great time Thanksgiving.
