Good GOD - WHY is everyone making a big deal over this??? I'm afraid that I have to turn the tables on this one and say that the people who are making such a big issue are the ones who are homophobes/hypocritical.
IF - Clay Aiken were not gay and Kelly Ripa had said this to him, no one would have ever said a WORD. If I had a nickel for every time I had ever said to someone, "Hey! I don't know where that hand has been!" as a joke, I would be a wealthy woman.
I can't believe that we have become a country of such hypersensitive FREAKS that we can't just take something at face value instead of looking for conspiracies everywhere. Ever think that maybe - just maybe - this was an attempt at humour and NO MALICE was intended whatsoever? Kelly is the queen of the seemingly 'innocent' - yet double-edged joke. Get over yourselves, America and let it go! Don't you have more serious things to worry about - like.....where you're going to get your next French pedicure or something?!?!?

They have been speaking with a concentrated visitor. Clay could not get a word in. He playfully reached over to shush her and positioned his provide up her mouth so he ought to talk. He have been out in the objective audience previous to the instruct, shaking hands with many in the objective audience. With the chilly/flu season right here, Kelly suggested to not positioned his hand on her mouth, she did not be attentive to the place it have been. It exchange into not something homophobic, it exchange into basically a standard, stupid request. Rosie O'Donnell, besides the undeniable fact that, has chosen to blow all of it out of share by utilising calling Kelly homophobic (regardless of the certainty that Clay has by no skill admitted one way or the different if he's gay or promptly). Rosie only likes to stir the pot, consistently has, consistently will. i'm performed with The View.

I wonder where her hand has been, too. But about Clay Aiken doing that to Kelly, shouldn't he wonder where her Mouth has been. Tori Spelling did it to Clay last night on American Music Awards.
