Norton tells me I have spyware, etc; but it doesn't tell me how to get rid of the little varmets. No wonder it was free, it will tell you have them, but you buy the program, THEN you can get rid of them. (Bring on the vaseoline).

Install an anti spyware and scan the PC. I can give a few links that offer free virus and spyware removers...! Norton, AVG , Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at

Let there be a reason why I switched to MacAfee. Norton has very little ideas that they give to people as compared to MacAfee. Switch to these people and get rid of Norton.

Download, update and run Spybot. You can get it at http://www.safer-networking.org/ I would alsd download, update and run Adaware. You can get that at http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/
