Americans are flocking to places that offer big-city opportunities and amenities -- with a lot more green space and a lot less stress. The top 10 Great American Towns today are:
1. Fort Collins, CO
6. Overland Park, KS
2. Naperville, IL
7. Scottsdale, AZ
3. Sugar Land, TX
8. Boise, ID
4. Columbia/Ellicott City, MD
9. Fairfield, CT
5. Cary, NC
10. Eden Prairie, MN
(Sorry, no Florida!)

In my opinion, if it's possible, travel a lot and discover other countries, then you are able to decide 'cos u already were in different places with different cultures, people, styles of life in general. It depends as well on your mood and your own style of life.
I'm Spanish, I'm living in Barcelona, its quiet good, but I like a lot the north of Spain too. The think is I'd like to travel more (of course to another countries, not just around Spain) and then can compare and decide, of course this is not accessible for everyone.
Good luck!

I think that the best place to live would be Florida as well. THe only downfall is that if someone were to live there then they would expierience a lot of hurricanes and thunderstorms.

Florida is a great place, just be prepared for the bugs, heat and humidity. Chicago is wonderful, but you had better be okay with extremes in temperature and crowds.

it depends what is your purpose of living!!!
For me Greece is the perfect place to live, if you want to enjoy life and have fun, combines wonderful excursion to mountains, fantastic summer island holidays and upspolutely party-animal night life until morning hours!
But if you seek spiritual development, then the ideal countries for this purpose are India-Nepal-Tibet, because here spirituality flourishes.
I'm a girl who left her beautiful and fun life in Greece who lives now in Nepal and found what she was seeking in spirituality. :-)
