I bought my oven as new in 2005 and broke the plate recently when I was washing it. It is a 850w 'E'. Thankyou to anyone that can help.

Only if it is tempered high-temperature glass. Like Daniel says... Pyrex or equivalent. Most rotating or stationary plates in microwave ovens are not, to my knowledge, heat tempered glass. .

Good advice from previous person .I don't know the site but if you ring the makers it will most likely cost the earth as it did me ,so try any thing before the manufacturers

I got a replacement one from CPC a couple of years back, they're part of the big Farnell group

Did you call the manufacture,you should just buy a new microwave thy are not that expensive
