Sure! Radiohead made it onto the radio in the 90's with their big hit "Creep", (not to be confused with the Stone Temple Pilot song Creep). This site is more informative than I could be: http://music.yahoo.com/ar-261564---Radiohead

I think they sound a bit like Coldplay, but Radiohead came first. Also, under "similar artists" on the yahoo page, groups like Jane's Addiction, Mazzy Star, and Cake are listed.

one or two decent songs (The Bends was a good album) but basically they're an overrated overindulgent introverted whining bunch of UK melody makers and Creeps.
