You will find Afghanistan is a land locked country.. it has borders with Pakistan Iran and a couple of Russia republics..
to get there from the UK you would need to fly south until you come to the Mediterranean , then turn east heading past Italy passing over Cyprus, towards turkey. passing over turkey then turn south east over Iran and then turn east again arriving over the desolation of Afghanistan
