Yes. Bush and Cheney should be impeached for the following reasons:

Ten Reasons to Impeach George Bush and Dick Cheney
I ask Congress to impeach President Bush and Vice President Cheney for the following reasons:

1. Violating the United Nations Charter by launching an illegal "War of Aggression" against Iraq without cause, using fraud to sell the war to Congress and the public, misusing government funds to begin bombing without Congressional authorization, and subjecting our military personnel to unnecessary harm, debilitating injuries, and deaths.

2. Violating U.S. and international law by authorizing the torture of thousands of captives, resulting in dozens of deaths, and keeping prisoners hidden from the International Committee of the Red Cross.

3. Violating the Constitution by arbitrarily detaining Americans, legal residents, and non-Americans, without due process, without charge, and without access to counsel.

4. Violating the Geneva Conventions by targeting civilians, journalists, hospitals, and ambulances, and using illegal weapons, including white phosphorous, depleted uranium, and a new type of napalm.

5. Violating U.S. law and the Constitution through widespread wiretapping of the phone calls and emails of Americans without a warrant.

6. Violating the Constitution by using "signing statements" to defy hundreds of laws passed by Congress.

7. Violating U.S. and state law by obstructing honest elections in 2000, 2002, 2004, and 2006.

8. Violating U.S. law by using paid propaganda and disinformation, selectively and misleadingly leaking classified information, and exposing the identity of a covert CIA operative working on sensitive WMD proliferation for political retribution.

9. Subverting the Constitution and abusing Presidential power by asserting a "Unitary Executive Theory" giving unlimited powers to the President, by obstructing efforts by Congress and the Courts to review and restrict Presidential actions, and by promoting and signing legislation negating the Bill of Rights and the Writ of Habeas Corpus.

10. Gross negligence in failing to assist New Orleans residents after Hurricane Katrina, in ignoring urgent warnings of an Al Qaeda attack prior to Sept. 11, 2001, and in increasing air pollution causing global warming.

This is not a matter of impeachment because one does not like him, it is a matter of him committing crimes and he and cheney should be impeached for their illegal offenses.

President Clinton was impeached by the repubs for something that was not even a misdeminor.

There are major movements now underway that will insure he and cheney will be impeached this spring, so rest assured, he and cheney will be paying the price for their actions.

Another person said cheney would be next in line, no he is going also, so Nancy Pelosi will be next in line for President as speaker of the house. Then listen to the repubs whine.

Happy Thanksgiving,

Darryl S.

Lets not be ridiculous. The war in Iraq, regardless of your support of it, dislodged one of the world's most evil regimes. Under Saddam, up to a million Iraqis died via genocide. Did you know President Clinton's justification for the Bosnian war? It was 10,000 people killed via genocide.
Further, most people thought that Iraq WAS producing WMD's because they used them on the Kurds. Quite a few Democrats advocated removing him, including John Kerry. It was also the Clinton administration's goal of regime change.
They also found WMDs, although the media scoffed at the fact that the chemicals found in large quantity were old. They were still toxic, as the mustard gas can sit in canisters for decades and still kill.
There is also quite a bit of proof that Saddam may have moved his weapons to Syria prior to the war.
If you want to talk about Impeachment, a greater justification against President Bush is his refusal to protect America from illegal immigrants, as this is guaranteed under the US constitution.

Have you ever read the Iraq War resolution passed by Congress? It's very interesting. It's easy to find. I suggest you look it up.

PS Your assertion that Iraq had nothing to do with terrorism, or that Bush said that, is wrong. Also, there were many reasons for going to Iraq.

There is no basis whatsoever to impeach Bush.

Since Pelosi and the dems have decided to not try to impeach the President, shouldn't you expand your rhetoric?

You know all those people can't be evil and tied to Halliburton. We haven't heard from anyone, except Rangel, and he wants a draft.

How about some comments on that.

this is asked everyday but the facts are so obvious you must see it again. IF THERE WAS ANY PROOF HE DID ANYTHING UNCONSTITUTIONAL YOUR LIBERAL LEADERS WOULD HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE HOUSE. An Impeachment is just the bringing forth of evidence to start an investigation. So everyone that thinks he should be means you have more information or are smarter than your leaders. The latter statement may be true but the first one cant be so.....

have you ever heard the word irreparable. We are in such a mess now that there is not a whole lot that can be straightened out. Plus he has covered his tracks as in doing away with the accounting offices in Iraq. To bad I would like to see who was charging our troop $100 for a carton of coca cola.

No not soley on Iraq. Many people, including me, initially supported the invasion of Iraq, mainly out of bloodlust resulting from 9/11. I am ashamed now of my support for the war initially. But at least I have the strength of character to admit I made a a mistake.

Bush deserves to be impeached on several counts of exceeding his Constitutional bounds and of undermining our system of Checks & Balances. But he has only 2 years to go, and with a Democratic House and Senate, he is effectively de-clawed and de-fanged. All he can do is veto. We should be content that he will certainly go down in history as THE worst President ever, not to mention a usurper.

Let History be the judge!

Look, I'm a leftie.
Impeachment (as we learned from Clinton) does nothing.
It's a waste of time.
