The only thing the xbox 360 is good for is the Halo series, if you have the money then I'd say save up for a ps3. It blows the 360 away.

i say u should have a xbox i have one it class the ps3 when it comes out will be just the same just more money ive seen the graphics on bothe nothing difference the games on ps3 is more likelt too cost alot more then usual price xbox has tons things it can offer msn chat email dowload demos download arcade games xbox live is amazing so i choose x box sony tell to many lies plus x box has the richest guy in the world who owns the xbox 360

It really depends what you want to get from a system and if you are patient enough to just pony up for a PS3. I'm a little biased and saving up for a PS3 because what I've seen so far has been pretty amazing; not to mention, I like how the PS3 has the Blu-Ray disk player.
If you want to start gaming immediately, then I recommend the XBox 360; I've played it and it is definitely a solid machine and has great graphics. However, the PS3 seems like it is going to be the best of the consoles.

We would like to get one but they are wanting way too much for them for our budget. We have ps2, xbox, game cube, nintendo DS and a few others.
Maybe when the price goes down a little.
