Yes. One thing you should know is it will pass. For me it it usually last a week. . . and you don't need a doctor. We can't be happy all the time. You know you're alive when you have every range of emotion. This is just one of them. Hang in there honey!

There was this one day that I was sad for no reason a few years back. I had a knot in my stomach and I was just feeling really blue. I was driving in an old rusted out 1975 Cutlass in the rain. I came to a stop light and while waiting for it to change I looked out of my window and down at the ground. I saw the rain drops pelting the curb and my sadness was cured. At that moment the rain on the pavement was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. Just stop for a second, and look around. Get out of your own head for a moment and look at a flower, a tree, a child. There is nothing to be sad about.

yes this happens to all, etc. You should certainly try to remedy your unhappiness however. Do something you enjoy. Spend time with family and friends; research has shown that people that are more sociable are more likely to report higher levels of happiness. Embrace art, for art alone will bring you pleasure that is unrivaled by any other forms of wellbeing. Read anything you can get your hands on, be curious, read philosophy, Tennyson, Shakespeare, Kant, etc. Do some drugs, but nothing too crazy, reefer is highly euphoric and incredibly safe. Have a few drinks, you will start to feel better.

Hi Rose,
Some times a lack of sunlight or a chemical imbalance can cause depression rather than your life situation. Have you had any changes in your life? I know i get depressed in the winter when there is less sunlight. I no longer need antidepressants because i try to get light and exercize and this is helpful. Counciling can help too.

I think everyone gets the "blues" once in a while, but, if it continues for more than a day or two, you might want to visit your doctor...could be nothing, but you never know. Go and do something you normally wouldn't do, like take a walk in the park instead of driving to McDonalds, maybe go into a pet store and look at kittens...That always cheers me up! SMILE!!! Sometimes that's all it takes to perk yourself up.

Your emotions are influenced by the people who are either near you or not near you, either way you're connected. Maybe you should get some friends, and if you have friends maybe you should get more. Live charitibly or understand why you don't want to. I am feeling very sad is not a question though

that is why we need to have a problem everyday. its go like this" first we encountered a prob. then we start to figure how to solve the prob, and we try to solve it. sometime we get stresed bcos we cant solve it. we keep trying, and the prob solved. and we happy and glad.see. that is why we need to keep moving, solving, thinking, working and fixing anything that go wrong.

but maybe u feel sad bcos of something else? maybe u regret the past, or maybe there are something wrong, but u didnt realize?

Yes. I don't know about men, I think most women have had the experience. A lot of it is hormonal, and it doesn't have to be PMS, I also know energies of people around you can influence your personal energy, lots of "energy takers". You need when you realize it is happening to shield yourself mentally. Stay away from negative people.

The doc is here... :)

You are sad because you feel the emptiness. You have everything, and probably you are losing your objectives in life.

When you life is filled with hope, and dream, and you will feel vivid again.
