when i get another snowman sweater from my aunt?!!! its the kind w/ stuffed snowmen sewed onto it, and she has a matching one for us to wear in pictures. help! what are some bad gifts you've ever gotten?

be happy that when you first got your period and your mom told your aunt, she didnt come to your house on christmas eve with a rite aid bag in her hand and say really (like seriously, the whole damn family could hear) loud "HERE HONEY, YOUR MOM TOLD ME YOU GOT YOUR PERIOD! I CANT BELIEVE HOW YOUR GROWING UP!" ahhh that happened..5 years ago and i still want to die thinking of it. for your xmas gift, just fake it as hard as possible. throw in the smile and falsly excited voice. " oh thanks anut___! i can always count on you to get me fugly things... err i mean, i love these sweaters :)

I dont ever get bad gifts well not really, Im always just grateful. Think of people who get nothing for christmas and remember to be greatful and humble inside.
Next up, does Auntie make them herself? If not tell her to stop being stingy and buy you a decent freaking gift!
If she does knit them herself then say "Auntie I appreciate the time an effort you put into those ugly crappy sweaters but how about using that as a side gift and buying me a decent "main" present this year. If not then Im keeping what I bought you and you can keep the dyam jumper, and oh make sure you're buying auntie good gifts it could be tit for tat. Gud luck!!

That's cute. If your aunt gets them for you all to take a family photo in, enjoy it! When she is gone [God forbid], that's something you will take with you, remember, and laugh about! I'm sure she doesn't expect you to wear it out in public as part of your daily wardrobe...just something festive & funny for the holidays :)

I got knitted clothing all the time from my grandmother. I always appreciated all the tim eand effort she put into them. I would always wear them and sometimes I would wear them in public. People always asked me why I was wearing that stuff and we would get a laugh when I said I was trying to be a punk rocker =). Just try to make it funny!

ive gotten socksthat says born to shop on it from a friend of mine not my style i just regift them or gearge sale it thell forget hopefully
