Donald Rumsfeld even said if we have a draft it would probably be a special skills draft...maybe this is how they can sit back and smugly deny a draft because we are not using the right phrase

I find it amusing that you are trying to tie Rumsfeld into the draft nonsense rather than the instigator -- Rangel. Rangel was the one who was saying that if you voted Republican in 04 there would be a draft and now he is the one bringing it up.

A special skills draft is simply a way of saying that they are going to be rounding up certain groups of people. It is discriminatory and will never fly.
