you need to go see your GP. it could be an infection, you could be pregnant or miscarrying. get it checked out girl.

See a doctor. You may have an infection and need to be treated. This can also be caused by some STDs.

Could be a side effect of the pill if you're on it. Some cause very slow and long periods, followed by 2 months of no period. That's usually a sign that you're not on the right pill for you ;)

It could either be pregnancy or time of the month. check your dates and keep an eye on the blood loss. If it persists or gets worse, see your doctor.

I've only heard of this (spotting) during pregnancy. But whatever advice we/they give you on here still go to your doc and get checked out! It's probably nothing but it will put your mind at rest.
