You should be asking your doctor what you can and can't take during pregnancy. But it doesn't sound like that's a good idea, especially when they say not to have more than a cup or two of coffee a day. I would think that's a little worse!!!!!

wellbutrin has a pregnancy classification B... which means:

animal studies have revealed no evidence of harm to the fetus, however, there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women. or Animal studies have shown an adverse effect effect but adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women have failed to demonstrate a risk to the fetus

So, basically, it's not known to cause any birth defects, but you should inform your doctor incase there is something better for you while you are pregnant

in my personal opinion, any medications taken can hurt the unborn baby. then again anyman made medications hurt even us taking them, just the side effects show how dangerous they are. there have been several studies done over the last 50 years that show if absolutely no medications are taken the baby is in better health both physically and mentally than those born from a mother who either, smokes, drinks and/or does any either non-prescription and/or prescription medications.

As long as the 300mg increase is XL, it would be fine to compensate with 2 150mg XL pills instead of one 300mg XL pill...

I would avoid taking any kind of drugs and herbs during pregnancy. You never know if it's going to affect the baby. You can ask your doctor but sometimes doctors don't know everything.
