I really like to hear them and they relax me...what do you think?
Can anyone tell me what is their origin? thanks!

from pope gregory I. yes i do listen to them sometimes. During some year in the 90's toll booths (i believe in california) passed hildegard's chants on a tape to try to lower road rage and it actually worked. just thought you would like to know haha.

they are the best they originate from monks i think ..i love putting candles on and turning up the volume they are very relaxing i have heard both male and female chanting and some chants set to upbeat music tempos too

A few years back I had heard it on a cd that my sister has. It was quite peaceful and relaxing.

They are veery relaxing. I listen to them when I'm feeling stressed.

they are nice. I also like aborigine and nature sounds to relax.

Some celtic music can do that too.
