Why can't we just accept each other and our choices? Why does this seem sociatally impossible?

Because humans have free will to be evil. If you allow evil, it exterminates the species. Just look at those countries where evil flourishes (example, North Korea)....nothing but pain, misery and death there.
Peace, happiness and joy don't come from accepting people and their "choices". It comes from taking an iron fisted stance against evil.
Being non-judgemental is WRONG!

because of greed, everyone wants to be better than the other person, which makes them feel supperior (sp?) to oither humans.

cause it's human nature to fear and hate what we don't understand, and sometimes it's hard to understand why people do what they do.
